You can spend the day exploring Broadway, enjoy some food or drinks together and then plan your proposal around the perfect moment.
Broadway Tower
If incredible views are important to you, Broadway Tower is definitely worth considering.
The views across the Cotswolds countryside make it a beautiful proposal location, particularly around golden hour.
I've photographed a proposal at Broadway Tower and it was such a special setting for the moment.
If you're planning a surprise proposal here, think carefully about the time of day and where you want the proposal to happen.

It's particularly well known for Arlington Row, one of the most photographed streets in the Cotswolds, with its beautiful honey-coloured stone cottages and unmistakable countryside charm.
If your dream proposal involves quintessential Cotswolds scenery, Bibury definitely delivers.
You could spend the day exploring the village together before finding a quieter spot for the actual proposal. Then, once your partner has said yes, you can explore the area and capture some beautiful photographs together.
One thing to keep in mind is that Bibury is incredibly popular, so it can get busy. If you're planning a surprise proposal, I'd recommend thinking carefully about the time of day and choosing somewhere where you can have a little space to enjoy the moment.
And don't feel like you have to propose directly on Arlington Row.
Sometimes the quieter spots around the village can make for a much more intimate proposal — while still giving you that beautiful Cotswolds backdrop.

What Is The Best Time To Propose In The Cotswolds?
One of the biggest things I'd recommend thinking about when planning a Cotswolds proposal is what time of day you're going to do it.
And although golden hour can be beautiful, early morning is actually one of my favourite times for a proposal.
If you're visiting some of the more popular Cotswolds villages and beauty spots, arriving around 8am or 9am can make a huge difference.
The Cotswolds can get very busy during the day, particularly at popular locations such as Bibury, Bourton-on-the-Water and Broadway.
Early morning gives you a much better chance of having a quieter, more intimate moment without lots of people around.
It also means your proposal can feel much more natural.
You could start the morning with breakfast, head out for a walk and then arrive at your chosen location while everything is still peaceful.
And from a photography point of view, I love this.
The softer morning light can be beautiful, and having fewer people in the background means the focus stays exactly where it should be — on the two of you.
Of course, sunset and golden hour can also be incredible, especially if you're planning a proposal somewhere with beautiful countryside views.
But if your priority is privacy, fewer crowds and a more relaxed proposal, I'd seriously consider setting that alarm and going early.
Sometimes 8am is all you need to make a busy Cotswolds location feel like it belongs entirely to you.
