A Surprise Proposal at Broadway Tower in the Cotswolds


Charley & Darcy’s proposal at Broadway Tower is one I won’t be forgetting any time soon.


Broadway Tower is easily one of the most iconic spots in the Cotswolds, so when Charley told me his plan to propose there, I already knew it was going to be special. We had everything lined up perfectly - timing, location, and a quiet spot overlooking the countryside.


The Cotswolds really showed off that day. Soft light, rolling hills, and just enough calm to make the moment feel completely theirs.

Darcy had no idea what was about to happen.

I was already in position, pretending to be just another person enjoying the view (standard), while Charley walked her up towards the tower. These moments are always a mix of excitement and nerves – and you can feel it before anything even happens.

And then, right there with the views stretching for miles behind them, Charley got down on one knee.

Darcy’s reaction said everything. Pure shock, happiness, and one of those moments where time just sort of pauses for a second.

She said yes (of course).


After giving them a moment to take it all in, we wandered around Broadway Tower for a mini shoot. This is always my favourite part – the nerves are gone, the excitement kicks in, and everything just feels easy.

No awkward posing, no pressure. Just the two of them, newly engaged, taking it all in together.

Broadway Tower really is the perfect place for a proposal in the Cotswolds. You’ve got the views, the atmosphere, and that sense of occasion without it feeling over the top.

Charley absolutely nailed it.

I’m honestly obsessed with these two and so glad I got to be part of it.
