A Surprise Proposal at Miserden Garden
When Dilan first got in touch after finding me on Instagram, he knew one thing for sure, he wanted the proposal to be perfect. What he didn’t know yet was exactly how to pull it off without Ashni suspecting a thing. That’s where I came in.

We chose the stunning gardens at Miserden. One of the most romantic proposal spots in the Cotswolds. With beautiful landscaping and peaceful corners that feel intimate and private. It’s an absolute dream location for a Cotswolds engagement photoshoot.
The Plan (Operation: Incognito)
We mapped everything out in advance. The exact spot. The timing. The positioning. I arrived early and camped out on a bench, fully undercover, pretending to read and enjoy the scenery like a totally normal visitor.
Dilan and Ashni arrived, taking selfies and soaking up the views. Right on cue, Dilan asked Ashni to get “the lady sitting on the bench” (me 😏) to take a photo of them.
So I did.
Then I casually mentioned I was doing a bit of nature photography and would happily take a few nicer photos for them and email them over. You know. Just being a friendly civilian with a professional camera.
