Prague Destination Wedding at The Vrtba Garden

A Relaxed Start in Their Airbnb


One of my favourite parts of this Prague wedding was how laid back and personal the morning felt. Dale and Tyra chose to get ready together in their beautiful Airbnb apartment, tucked away in one of Prague’s charming old streets. There was no rush, no strict timeline just the two of them, enjoying slow moments, coffee, laughter, and anticipation.

Capturing their prep felt more like photographing a couple on a cosy weekend away than a traditional wedding morning. That’s the beauty of intimate destination weddings, you get to do it your way.

From Streets to Vows: Walking Through Prague


We headed out together on foot, wandering through the cobbled streets of Prague as we made our way to their ceremony. These walking portraits were so natural, fun, and romantic. Locals smiled, tourists congratulated them, and the whole city seemed to buzz with their joy.

Ceremony at The Vrtba Garden


Their ceremony took place at the stunning Vrtba Garden a tucked-away baroque garden that overlooks the rooftops of Prague. It was so nice and sunny but absolutely glorious. The garden was in full bloom, the sun lit up the terracotta rooftops, and the whole place felt like a scene from a movie.

Tyra walked down the aisle with her close friend by her side, and I don’t think there was a dry eye there. They shared private vows filled with emotion and heartfelt promises, while the incredibly talented Diana Petrushenko played live piano in the background. You could feel the love in the air.

After the ceremony came the real celebration. Champagne sprays, hugs all around, happy tears, and lots of laughter. Dale and Tyra's friends and family made the whole day feel like one big adventure and as their destination wedding photographer, it was an honour to capture every moment, from the quiet glances to the loud cheers.
