When people think of engagement photoshoots in the Cotswolds, they often picture rolling hills, honey stone villages and beautiful countryside views. Bhumi & Pranay’s couple photoshoot had all of that… plus some very cool car shots to finish the evening. And honestly, it was such a fun one.
We started their engagement photoshoot in Painswick, one of the prettiest villages in the Cotswolds and such a lovely location for couples wanting natural, relaxed photos. The streets, stone buildings and peaceful atmosphere make it perfect if you’re after that classic Cotswolds feel. Our first stop was around Painswick Church, which is such a beautiful backdrop with so much character. There’s something about Painswick that feels calm and timeless, making it ideal for engagement photography.
Pre wedding shoots with me are simple.
We meet up, go for a walk, have a laugh, get to know each other and take photos along the way. No awkward posing, no pressure just making sure you feel comfortable enough to be yourselves.
Bhumi & Pranay absolutely smashed it.
Like a lot of couples, they arrived saying they felt nervous about being in front of the camera, but within minutes everything felt relaxed. We chatted, wandered through Painswick and captured some gorgeous natural moments.
This is exactly why I love engagement shoots.

Couple Photoshoot in Stroud
After exploring Painswick, we headed over towards Stroud to switch things up completely.
And I’m so glad we did.
The second half of the shoot was all about creating something a bit different with some seriously cool car shots. It gave the gallery a completely different feel and added so much personality.
One of my favourite things about engagement photography is making the session feel like you. Whether that’s countryside walks, your favourite coffee spot, classic Cotswolds villages or including cars and hobbies you love.
